How to Create a Newsletter in Microsoft Word on a Mac

One of the classes I teach in Halifax and Dartmouth is called Design Tools for Business. In class, one of the main topics business owners and entrepreneurs want to learn is how to create their own newsletter. Below is a video that shows you how to create your own newsletter by recreating a template.

There is a difference when using Microsoft on a Mac computer. This video is specific to Mac users who have Microsoft Word. Below the video I have included step-by-step instructions with screenshots.

In this section below I will provide step-by-step instructions on opening a new document and adding a photo. In my next post I will show you how to format more of your newsletter including text boxes and additional photo options. Watch the full video – it walks you through the entire process as well.

Step 1 – Open A Blank Document

  • Bring up Microsoft word
  • Go to file at the top of the menu bar
